Fallen People, Grace and Drawings

“forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors” Matt.6:12

So working at Starbucks sometimes sucks.

It’s also a place where God shows me a lot of grace (undeserved good things). Pride is generally  as stubborn as genital warts. Not fun, and means God has a lot of work left to do in me.

Pride is:

“a high opinion of ones own dignity, importance, merit or superiority” (Dictionary.com)

It says I’m the King of everything. It’s very bad, very irritating and before God, false.

So God kindly shows me how irritating my pride is by exposing me to other proud people. And it sucks.

To demonstrate how God asks me to be gracious to others, (just as he is patient with me), I drew a picture. You’re welcome.

Being a Grace Cannon to irritating people.

This is a lifelong painful process. But totally worth it, because humility (archnemesis of pride) is brilliant.

And following God is better than drugs. FACT.

  1. Wow, Tim. Praise God for this blog. Amen?! I’ve only read 2 posts and I’m very inspired. All glory to Jesus.
